Approach International Student Center
is a well established English language
school located in Allston, MA, only
5 minutes away from Boston – one of
the most dynamic student centers in
the world.
Surrounded by great colleges and
universities such as Harvard University,
MIT, Boston University (BU), and Boston
College, we teach over 200 students every
month ranging from 13 to 70+ years old.
Our students come from all over the world
to attend a variety of full-time and part-time
English courses. A flexible schedule
ensures students can start any Monday and
come to classes anytime they want. We
are open year round and offer classes
Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 8PM. On
Fridays the school is open for extra help, self study
and use of all school resources including the school
library, testing room, computer and listening labs
and for meetings with course coordinators at no
extra charge.
Quality ESL courses at affordable prices
We offer small classes with certified teachers, a
monthly calendar of activities chaperoned by our
staff, and access to tutors for extra help in our
self study room.
Our facilities include a library, computer
labs with internet access, listening and video
labs and a game room for students to relax at
the end of each day.
Course choices include our Intensive English
program or Semi Intensive English program,
test preparation programs such as TOEFL or
GMAT, a comprehensive ESL (English as a
second language) teacher training internship
and specialized ESL programs for advanced students
including work & study programs.

The support you need as an international student
In addition to our courses, we understand F1 student immigration regulations. We help our
students get organized to apply for a student visa (F1) at a consulate abroad, and we
prepare the documents to change permitted immigration status to the F1 student status
here in the US.
We also provide transportation to and from the airport, housing placement with an
American host family or in a dormitory or apartment, help selecting a good health insurance
plan, and translation and interpreter services.
Upon graduation from Approach, many of our students take advantage of our college
and university partnerships, where partner institutions facilitate the admissions process for
Associate's and Bachelor's degrees.
